Respiratory and Sleep Specialists have been performing diagnostic and treatment sleep studies for over 12 years at Pioneer Valley Hospital, Mackay, having commenced our service there in 1997. Our Pioneer Valley Hospital Sleep Investigation Unit is located in the main hospital complex, 50m from the front entrance. In addition to servicing the local general population with sleep problems, our service has become interwoven with the management of sleep disorders affecting the performance of workers in the mining and transport industries operating within the Bowen Basin and Central Highlands. At Pioneer Valley Hospital we offer 3 well appointed sleep investigation beds for conducting rapid diagnostic and treatment sleep studies. Our Mackay Sleep Health Centre, where patients can attend for our Insomnia Programme, CPAP, Bilevel or ASV equipment management or our Sleep health Programme is also located at the hospital. We operate a number of portable (home) study services in the region catering to the mining industry.

Take the Mackay Bucasia Rd exit off the Bruce Hwy in North Mackay, and then turn into Malcomson Rd and turn onto Norris Road.
