Travelling by train
The RiverCity Sleep Unit is located one block from the Auchenflower train station. Trains running from Central Station or Roma Street Station to Ipswich or Darra stop at Auchenflower.
Walking from Auchenflower train station, (located on the corner of Eagle Terrace and Ridley Street Auchenflower) to RiverCity takes approximately five minutes. After alighting from the train, turn left at the top of the exit/entry ramp and proceed along Ridley Street. Turn right at Milton Road, Auchenflower and walk to the traffic lights. RiverCity can be seen opposite the lights on your left.
Travelling by Bus
The No. 470 Milton Road Bus from Anne Street Bus stop 9 passes by RiverCity Private. Alight at bus stop 10 on Milton Road. The stop is situated diagonally opposite RiverCity Hospital.
Travelling by Car
Park in the Munro Street car park located behind the bicycle shop on Milton Road. Walk up the slight incline toward the hospital building. You should find yourself at the door leading to the Level 1 entrance pictured above. Press the buzzer/intercom on the wall to the left to notify staff of your arrival. Take the lift on the left to level 4.
Office Hours Entry
During office hours you may also choose to enter the Sleep Investigation Unit from Level 2 of the hospital. From Milton Road, proceed up the hill along Wienholt Street and through the hospital carpark to the main entrance of ‘Vision One’ Eye Surgery Clinic (Level 2). Take the lift on the left to Level 4.
After Hours Entry
After you have crossed Milton Road at the traffic lights, proceed down the footpath towards 99 Bikes bicycle shop.
DO NOT WALK UP THE HILL TO THE HOSPITAL. AFTER 5.00PM THE DOOR WILL BE LOCKED).
Walk along the footpath on Milton Road past the bus-stop and 99 Bikes bicycle shop and turn right into Munro Street. Walk through the carpark on your immediate right (behind the bicycle shop) and up the slight incline to the hospital building. You should find yourself at the door to the Level 1 entrance of the hospital on Munro Street. (See photograph below). If you are lost, please phone 1800 155 225 for assistance.
Push the buzzer located on the wall to the right to notify staff of your presence. Once inside, take the lift on the left to level 4.
