Our Sleep Health Centres are unique to Australia and are specialised Centres that provide all the required services needed to diagnose, treat, and sustainably support patients with sleep disorders. At a single site or campus, patients receive Respiratory and Sleep Physician Consultation, state of the art sleep investigation unit based diagnostic testing, initiation of treatment including positive airway pressure devices or oral appliances, and receive long-term follow-up care and management.
Respiratory and Sleep Specialists Sleep Health Centre Programmes provide coordinated diagnosis, medical, dietetic, psychological, pharmacological and behavioural treatments and follow-up services to those suffering from sleep disorders. These integrated services enable Respiratory and Sleep Specialists to offer referring Doctors and patients greater convenience, valuable information and better outcomes.
Respiratory and Sleep Specialists Sleep Health Centres are staffed by Respiratory and Sleep Physicians and experts in the field of sleep medicine, including Nurses, Scientists, Psychologists, Sleep Dentists, Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists.
As part of our Sleep Health Centre program, Respiratory and Sleep Specialists now offer a consultation with Accredited Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians from our Sleep Health Centres to prescribe a personalized diet and exercise plan for weight loss, management of sleep disorders and chronic disease for your patients.
We run group sessions as well individual consultations with our Exercise Physiologists and individual consultations with our Dietitians.
During consultation with our Accredited Exercise Physiologists Grant and Veronika, they will assess your patients' medical and physical history and prescribe an exercise program based on the best practice guidelines to manage your patients' health and meet their goals.
The staff at our Sleep Health Centres, also Exercise Physiologists, will monitor your patients' progress as they continue through their program. This is secondary to their individual consultations and will be provided free of charge.
